Introduction: Although the science and the art of psychiatry are constantly changing, still there is certain basic information that is important to understanding mental processes. Such a body of information has been provided in part by the Schering series Current Studies on the Nature of Brain Function. Though these booklets have not attempted to cover the whole field, they have presented the relationship of theoretical investigation to clinical psychiatry.
The many requests for this series reflect increasing interest in psychiatry by physicians. Schering is proud that this series has been requested by teaching institutions as well as by practicing psychiatrists, and that it has been considered by some as a basic reference work. Growing demand has prompted this revision under one cover, newly titled The Nature of Brain Function.
Overall Condition: Good: The book has been read but is in good condition. It has very minimal issues to the cover, including scuff marks, but no holes or tears. The dust jacket for hard covers may not be included. The binding has minimal wear. The pages are undamaged with no creasing or tearing, no pencil underlining of text, no highlighting of text, and no writing in the margins. There are no missing pages; see images.
